Hihi! I reinstalled Win XP Home so I apparently lost all the docs that were
in My Documents. That's not the problem. However, I thought that with that
folder gone I'd have more free memory, turns out, I have exactly the same
availbale space on C: . How come? Shouldn't the system have as much free
memory as if I'd just bought the 'puter?
Is it possible that my old "My Documents" folder is still floating somewhere
around? If so, how do I get to it?

Thanks for all your help!

user acount before I reinstalled the whole thing however, I can't open the
folder. I get 'Access denied' when I try.
