Samsung NP550P5C and Samsung 830 SSD?

hey guys,

I'm finally upgrading from my 4 years old hp laptop (2.0 GHz dual core, 9200GS   )

I believe that the Quad Core i7 3610QM and a GT650M should be a sizable upgrade.

and to sweeten the deal I thought I should treat my self with an SSD, and instantly thought of the 830 (both Samsung  ).

However it seems the 830 write speed is only 400 MB/s, while i've seen others well over 500 (SanDisk Extreme is faster and $40 cheaper for example)

any opinions are greatly appreciated, even about the laptop itself  
I would also highly appreciate any advice/tutorials about how can I get the new SSD up and running (software wise)
