These are the things í have:

Windows ME computer
Computer without any OS
6-port hub
Broadband connection directly onto internet with only 1 ip-number

Currently the ME computer is using the ip and internet connection but im planning to use the uninstalled computer as a file and game server. So I want to have both computers connected to the Internet. I dont have to be able to use it for surfin or anything else online just as a server. I thought i might install Linux on it too since its not a very good computer and ive never tried linux before.

So what programs or hardware do i need to make this work? I´d be pleased to get some answers.

Either set up Internet connection sharing in windows, or get a router or use your other box as the router/server.

What programs do i need to setup the ME computer as a router and do i have to connect both computers to the hub in that case?

ICS should be a built in part of ME. You could just hook your two pc's up through the router i think or you could put 2 nics in your ME pc, one to the cable modem and one to the other pc.

I'm not sure you will be able to do what you want with ICS though, not sure if it will allow people to connect the game server like you want.
