Up to this point Windows XP home edition has been working well on my
computer. Starting a few days ago, when I now boot up my computer it takes
about two minutes for Windows to load and go to my desktop. It used to take
only 30 sec. max. Once I'm in everything seems to work fine. What could be
causing this slow-down in the loading process. I run spyware on a regular
basis. Could I have deleted some cookies? Would re-installing Windows be a
smart move? To re-install do I just insert the disc. Will that harm any of
my files?
