Need advice about how to make my cab a multi gameplaying m..

Hi there this is my situation: I have limited space...live in NYC...but
do own two dedicated machines in great shape...an original Cliffhanger
(laserdisc) and an upright foodfight.
I would love to have lots of other machines but since I am quite
limited to space and my girlfriend has does have a breaking point I was
kind of thinking , would it be possible to "incorporate" a mame style
setup inside one of my cabs....(and for that matter is jamma a better
candidate? not too versed on what Jamma really is and would also
appreciate if someone could point me to a "tutorial" site about all
this Jamma stuff)I would tend to think that the Cliffhanger would be a
better candidate since it does have two buttons. What I dont want to do
is hack new hole into my cabs...at least definitely not the outside. I
have a pentium 3 tower that my brother has donated to me so I could use
that. HAs anyone ever attempted to do something like this before? My
cliffy does function 100% so its not just the cab that I will
use..would like to be able to play the cliffy as well.
Now I would of course try to only use game whose roms I own any
ideas folks?? would love to have the classics running...you
know...Joust Mr Do pacmans...the donkey Kongs...fighting games? I'll
use my consoles for that.
