nVidia TnT2 M64 16MB Instal Trouble

Pictures look great, but, screens with text, I get lines (or dark streaks)across the screen. Is it the card, driver or bios? I know its an old card, but i'm not a gamer.
My computer is:
AMD 800 mhz Shuttle mother board Ai61
Hyundai L705 flat screen
512 megs of ram
Windows 2k
Please help.

Every time I've seen streaks it's been a monitor problem.

It's your monitor. My Viewsonic had this exact same problem last month. Replaced it with another -- problem solved.

I did not have this problem with the old video card!
