I recently bought new cheap mouse and its working on every desktop or laptop but it wont work on my. Every time when i plug it in, computer recognize it and it starts updating drivers and then it install them, but still pointer isnt moving. I tryed uninstalling every usb driver, still dont working... I have no idea what to do anymore.
In device manager there is only two drivers missing below Other devices, PCI DEVICE and something called BCM207...
And every few minutes while my mouse is pluged in i hear that noise that i usually hear when some new drivers are installing, like its losing connection or something...
Im using Win 7 64 bit.

And yes i did try to change USB port...

Assuming you've pressed the mouse and receiver buttons to check they can contact each other, it's possible that PCI device without a driver is the culprit. The BCM is a Broadcom Bluetooth related device so that may also be it. Try updating both of those and let the system search the Net for drivers.

There might be an option in Control Panel (Mouse ) to enable an external mouse.

There are some laptops that require this change to be done in the bios but usually only on older laptops - enable usb mouse/keyboard.
