my friend has windows xp home on an HP computer. recently, she is not able
to sign in as system administrator, the page that usually shows user accounts
only has one account and should have 4. I understand that the administrator
account cannot be deleted but it appears that it has, so maybe a virus? She
is unable to add programs (virus programs, i.e. McAfee) because only the
administrator is able to do this. She cannot run System Recovery to reset.
Can anyone help with this?
