Hi,
When I visited France in September, I made some friends with whom I
exchanged text messages when I wasn't in the same city than they were.
One is British and one is French.
The text messages worked when I was over there, but since I got back to
Canada, text messages don't work when I send something to the one who
has a French phone while they do when I send them to the guy with a
British phone. Strangely, both have the same carrier called Orange.

I had the same problem with trying to send text messages to people in
Europe, on the Orange network. Being charged for those messages, I called
fido to get a credit. But they told me they make no guarantee that it would
be received and it actually states that in their user agreement.
