Can't thank you enough Kevin for coming up here to Cadillac from
Detroit to help fix my game for me, plus do a few extra fixes also on
the game. Still laughing at how easy the fix was for the monitor. But
still it was nice to learn a few things about the monitor and getting
that power switch fixed. Next time your up this way, I'll have to get
ya to swing by and do the patch job on the monitor board.....

Umm.. gosh.. thanks man, it was nothing
Glad you have a game you can play now, hopefully I can get it so that
you don't need the knife anymore!! Glad also to have shared some
knowledge with you too, not that I'm a whiz at this stuff or anything
but I'm always happy to share what little I know I always consider
learning much more valuable than just having something done for you!
(For anyone following the thread, he has a 4-player dungeons and
dragons cab with a W-G 25K7191 monitor. The monitor has been dead
since it was shipped to him. Turns out that there's a cold solder
joint(s) in the vicinity of the flyback. I found this by flexing the
board while powered up.. With a plastic razor knife putting upward
pressure on the PCB on that corner, the monitor comes to life and works
fine! I pulled the board and reflowed the solder joints for the
flyback, but unfortunately that didn't do it. I was running short on
time, so I left the knife in place until I could make arrangements to
come back and do it right

Now Now....taking the time to travel 200+ miles to work on it is a big
deal. Even if you were up this way camping. Still, you were making
plans to come up and help before you made the camping plans.
Hopefully, if you make a return trip down the road, I'll be back in my
place and won't have to deal with working on it in the Garage....
