During the summer, my wife and I are in a remote location with only 56K
dialup access. We have 2 PCs running XP with wireless cards. How can we use
both computers at once on the same dialup connection without getting a
router, etc.? I would like only one to be hardwire connected to the phone
line.

Thanks

You can use one machine with a modem and AD-Hoc mode on the wireless NIC's
with Windows ICS I think may work for you. You can even use ICF of on the
machines.

I'm not sure it'll fit your specific situation, but you might search for
"Internet Connection Sharing" in XP's Help, and do some reading. It's
possible XP includes a software solution you can use. Good luck!
