^Agree, that's a much better price range.

Also, you still need some spare cash to buy MS Office or something similar if you are planning to use the PC for work.

i was thinking of downloading open office since its free. its 1800+ cause my old xps from dell the hard drive fry up my laptop literally caught on fire so choose 2 yr warrenty whichwas 250ish.

Its still too much, warranty or not. Go with something else, as others have suggested.
