i cant save my work

i was trying to save mt work and i keep getting a reply of " you dont have
the right to do that" it wont let me save anything to disk or the hard
drivr i did virus scans and nothing ... please help

Pro Edition of XP has the utility GPEDIT.MSC to change Policy.

Otherwise, it might be a Permissions setting, (which on Home Edition you reach in Safe Mode, with the default "Administrator"
account)
