My gramma bought a E-machine..
its crap i know..
celeron 600..
its soooo slow.. anyways it only came with 32 megs of mem so i went over to slap some 256 in, and... the hard drive was mounted vertically!

Right behind the power button there inside haha
i was like hmm thats odd..

Isnt't that bad for the drive?
i mean it works but hmmm!

No. Hard drives work in any position. Vertical is common in desktops, and the Lian Li case is designed for vertical mounting.

I wonder...what is the speed of gravity?

Yep the crappy Dell's I have worked with have them mounted that way. It's a bitch to take them out.

No problem to take them out, you jsut have to know what your doing. I did it the wrong way (like you probably did) a few times, then realized that all I had to do was swing the front open, remove two screws, and slide it out sideways. The bracket DOES NOT have to come out!
