That price is alot better than ZipZoomFly obviously. I'm not sure how reputable that site is but they'll sell alot at that price.

just figured I would post it for those impatient people(me) that can't wait for it to go down. It's not bad being only $50 over msrp.

I did some price comparisons with this website and newegg. Some of the items that I compared were alot cheaper, one was $70.00 cheaper on a water cooling system. Most of their stuff is priced about the same as everyone else. It just seems weird that they have huge price diffs on some of their popular stuff. Something else that I dont get is that they have pics and descriptions of most of their other video cards but they dont have a pic or any info other than price on the XL card. Maybe its just because it just came in.

To save us both time, assume I know EVERYTHING

That was my thought(to look at the other card prices). Although it doesn't state IN STOCK, the X800XL price is very good. But look at their AGP prices and even the GF6800series AGP card are above list price. $330 for a GF6800, $480-525 for a 6800GT, $270 for a 6600GT, and over $500 for X800 pro's. All these very high prices on items that are most likely in stock, really make me feel that this cheap X800XL is a preorder only, and maybe not one that is definately going to be filled either., or at least not until they are so readily available that you may be able to find one cheaper. Of course that's my opinion and it could be way off. I have never bought from this site.

One of the items I compared was the Thermaltake Big Water cooling system. Newegg has it for something like $170.00 this site has it for $108 or $118.00. It just seems weird to me that there are certain items with such a big price diff. Makes me a little nervous. Maybe someone here has doen business with these people.

Just to let everyone know, I called that store today and they said that they won't have the card in stock until about the second week of February.

I hate sites that put "usually ships in 1-2 days" instead of "in Stock" & "Out of Stock". Lame IMO.

$350 - a good price relative to other sites, but still $50 over list price. Just seemed to point to there being a catch as most of their prices are aweful, so why would this Hot upcoming card be $100+ under other etailers prices. Maybe because they only intend to ship it when they get it in someday, and IF the prices have come way down at that time. Otherwise if the street prices stay higher, they'll probably cancel the preorders a week before and raise the price when they get the cards in. If the cards are plentiful, and down near list price, then they will honor this preorder. Just a guess from someone who got some "we are cancelling you X800XTpe preorder" emails and phonecalls. :frown:
