I'm planning on buying a laptop from pro-star for $1046 (total price, free shipping), but I'm very worried about the taxes that will be involved.
The item would be shipped from US to Canada. What would the taxes be on this machine, and I know that UPS brokerage fees are apparantly outrageous, but this guide says you can bypass them: Here
My question is, is it worth it? If I can clear my own brokerage charges for only $13 or so that would be great, but what other fees would apply (like taxes etc.)
