Anyone had this experience? Installed a SMC wireless card on a Compaq
Presario laptop and when IE opens up and is loading pages there is a buzzing
static sound from the speakers even if you mute the volume control. Is
there a fix to this?
Thanks

Found a post regarding this issue. It seems that Compaq built these before
wireless without regard to possible frequency issues - shielding perhaps?
Disabling the sound card will stop it, or possibly using a USB wireless
adapter away from the motherboard may reduce or eliminate the noise.
