Anyone here using a Zywall 2XW or 10W with 802.1x and Multiple APs?

Can external APs authenticate against the local 802.1x user database on the
Zywall?

Thanks!

Yes, you should be able to. I have never done so myself, but you can
do it-even with another company's access points.

A unit that can act as a bridge, such as the ZyaAIR B-420 is
recommended for this. The 420 would act as a bridge and
will broadcast the signal to the wireless clients. Whatever you need
would have to be able to act as a bridge, IIRC.

If you have trouble, I may be able to help.
Let me know how things turn out.
