Is there any place that you all would know of that has the games that are supported by SLI on the Nforce boards?
Thanks in advance

I think they started with 3dmark03, then 3dmark05, then Aquamark3, then Doom3, then TRAOD, then Farcry, then HL2, etc. Seeing a trend here???

Anyway, the list you refer to sure is smaller than I'd expect by now. I wonder the time it actually takes to create & test the game profile for each game?

I think you need to test the value of the game first. What can we market best, whoa optimize that. Or maybe that's what you were refering to?

I also love how [H] also points out that UE3 has support despite not being a game or even a workable tech demo yet.

Considering it is possible to force SLI AFR and SFR on all games it just doesn't necessarily work (either crashing or have the load balance be 100% and 0%), I would think it'd be fairly easy to get it to work as well as FartCry's buggy support (see the original SLI review at [H]).

I doubt it'll ever become the absolute MUST have technology the way so many other things are for gaming. It'll remain a marquee/boasting/e-penis aspect that will get reviewer time, but really won't be worth it to most people except those who are more interested in bungholios than gaming. The only gamers who I could see needing this are those who do this semi-professionally, everyone else just has more money than brains. The single card solutions do a damn good job now, and while SLI would be nice to see in action live, I sure wouldn't want to pay for it.

It really does only attract those interested in Bungholio marks. But IMO, if it worked with all games, it would be a great way of elongating (I think that's a word, maybe I should use lengthening instead), the life of a card. Again, if it worked perfectly across all games, image you buy a card now, let's say a 6800Ultra, and one to two years when it starts to show it's age, you add a 2nd, and boom, you have 2x the fps than you did before, then it would be great. but with it's current implementation and function, it's just for show.
