I am getting a new computer. My old one has a quicken program in it that I
have lost the floppy disc for. Can I get that program into my new computer
by going to the c drive on my computer (old) saving the folder fro quicken
to a disc then putting it into the new computer and installing it? Any ideas
on this or will I need to just but a new quicken? I don't really use it that
much. Thanks

Hi,

Very doubtful. You could do this some very old programs, which is
suspect this is considering it's on one floppy disk. So I would plan
on it not working.

On another note, don't use Window Backup in Win98 to save files, it is
not compatible with the backup utility in WinXP. Save any data files
via drag and drop to a cd or other media.

Another good utility is the File & Settings Transfer Wizard. You may
want to check it out.

I believe you can get your Quicken account number in Help - About.

Then contact Quicken via email about your need to re-install:
