Well here we go again, new ATi cards have been hitting stores ( X850XT(PE) ), and I was wondering what everyone thought is the best and fastes card at the moment. I'm still stuck between the Gainward 6800Ultra (core: 430mhz / memory: 1200 mhz) and a X850XT. So which card is the best for now? And please say why it is and which brand, cause speed differs per brand. And ohyea, money doens't matter.

I dont remember what setup you are using, just tell me what CPU you have. And if you could, give me your thoughts on which of the 3 I listed in my post you would choose.

I got FX-53/OCZ PC4400 Gold/2xRaptors/MSI K8N

Oh yes before I forget, I dont have a PCI-E motherboard, so I need a AGP card.

Im not going to be much help, sorry. For some reason I thought that you may have been one of the few that had a socket 775. I would think that the XT would outperform the other.

Well the fastest card WAS the X800XTPE, and now the X850XTPE is faster, so the winner seems obvious for SINGLE card solution.

EDIT: Oh yeah, no X850XTPE in AGP for a while (R481 to come). So for now the X800XTPE is fastest, then you can overclock whatever from there.
