Anyone have experience with a Konami Code 1 dispatch? The game only
steers in screeching right circles. I checked everything I can think
of. 1. Swapped in a new driver board purchased directly from happ. 2.
Checked pot.3. In test mode the it shows the steering working
correctly. When you turn right the little dots go to the right and when
you turn left they go to the left. The problem only occurs during game
play. I checked and recalabrated the gas and brake. 4. I checked the
motor. I disconected the motor but the car still does this forced right
turn circle. It calibrates correctly when you first turn it on. The
game loads correctly and shows no errors when testing the card. Has
anyone had this problem on their code 1 or similar Konami driving game
and if so what was the solution. This is a strange one and of course
the Betson people who now handle Konami tech support are clueless.
They sent me out a replacement 64mb flash memory card that was suppose
to have the game loaded on it and then it would load that into my game.
The thinking was there might be a problem with the program. As usual
they make the most obvious mistake and sent the card without
programming the game onto it. $169.00 they want, I will return it. I
really don't think that is it but maybe?
Thanks for the help.
