I guess the important thing is the yoke impedance. I do not know if
they match up.
I tried calling wells gardner themselves and they didnt seem to know!
I really dont want to shell out the $$ for a new one if I dont have to.

NO! You must also replace the yoke.
Call the parts dept at Wells-Gardner (1-800-336-6630) and order Service
Kit # S02J0000-000F which is the k7500 to u5000 retrofit kit and
includes all the circuit boards, yoke, transistor assembly, and
instruction manual.

Hi Ken,
I think I will just get another U5000 board. I'm not sure I want to try
to replace the yoke.
Thanks for your help, Im glad I didnt order the wrong part!

That's what I think my problem is, gotta get a 'new' one. Mine glowed really
bright in the neck with a U2000 chassis and then went into shutdown but
worked on a K7xxx tube.
A PITA because I thought it was the chassis, which it may be, but the tube
has issues too.
