Changing Sandy bridge to Ivy Bridge Mobile CPU? (Y570)

After several attempts at trying to communicate with the 'Tech Support' center for Lenovo, I decided to try a different option.

Does anyone over here know if it is possible to replace my i5-2410m (Sandy Bridge) processor with a i7-3615QM (Ivy Bridge) processor?

I know I can change it out for an i5-2670QM, (Sandy Bridge). But there seems to be zero documentation as to replacement with an Ivy Bridge chip.

  2. Did another heavy searching, discovered the the Y570 uses the Mobile Intel HM65 Express chipset, and ivy bridge mobile chips require the 7 series chipset to be functional.
