w32.blast.worm shuts down xp unexpectedly

Even tho my NAV2003 was able to block blasterworm virus, my computer everytime i'm connected to the internet has a tendency to shut down my pc in anytime. (NT AUTHORITY/system32) "tftp." This is quite annoying.

dl trial version of Mcafee. Restart in safe mode and run virus scan, clean or delete whatever is infected with it. Problem solved.

It's not about good or bad, it's about which gets you rich and laid faster.

hmm? maybe the reason of the brownout in some cities in USA is the virus blasterworm.

you dont even have to have the virus to have your computer act strange, thats part of the virus, it sends commands to do that from other computers, if you have the patch installed it cant do it. or if you have a firewall installed it wont do that.

Microsoft's Internet COnnection firewall is crap, even when they're enabled the worm still can make to my pc. But the patch has already fixed the problem. And i won't install any third party firewall out there since i'm only on dial-up connection.
