It is a 20 pin IC and probably some kind of buffer. It is at location H2 and
F8 on an Astro Battle PCB Sidam. The IC's are missing but marked on the
Schematic as 5471. Any ideas? 1 is between the data bus and the program
memory and the other is in the final stage of the video output

CAPS comes up empty. Could it be a custom? You might try seeing if it's
pin-compatible with a popular PROM.

Definitively proms.
The game has been added to a recently version of mame, look there to
get the dumps.

Sounds like some sort of memory. (A)ddress, (Data), and (E)nable. I'd
put money on a masked ROM.

54xx is usually just the military version of 74xx.

7471 is a j-k flipflop with a gated preset...

May or may not be what you need...

FYI, Sidam had licenses from a lot of companies to produce there pcb's. I
have a sidam Galaga pcb (better quality IMHO) that is an exact copy of a
Namco pcb. Do you know what the game is a copy of?
