FPS and Quality Change

Ok so i was wondering how would my frame rate and quality change with the upgrade i plan to make .

I am running a P4 1.7 Ghz 512 MB SD-RAM Radeon 9100 128mb my MOBO can only do upto 4X.

Now if i only change my Video Card from 9100 - 9700 Pro How much difference could i see in frames and the quality ?

Depends on the game.

In older titles, you'll be able to run much higher resolutions with AA and AF.

In New titles like Doom3 or half life 2, you'll be able to run at 1024x768 with AF and get nice framerates. (You might get the occasional hiccup from your CPu tho)

I would be running Flight Simulator mostly. @ about 1280 *1024 or something.

You'll see a big difference, although FS is probably heavily CPU dependant as well, so that will limit you.
