PC is HP Pavilion m703, 2.8Ghz Pentium4, 1Gb DDR-SDRAM 333Mhz, 120Gb HD
Whenever i right click on any icons or whenever i try to cut, paste etc the
following error appears
explorer.exe - Application Error
The instruction at "0x1000a9fb" referenced memory at "0x00000000". The
memory could not be written.
click ok and i lose everything bar the background for a second and then it
goes back to the start menu with all applications closed. Works perfectly
until im stupid enough to right click again.
Final thing, i might be wrong but i think this happened while installing
one of the Windows automatic updates.

If explorer crashes everytime you right click, you are probably seeing the
incompatibility between the current version of divx and SP2. This is being
reported by multiple people.
Divx is a video compression technology that many people have installed on
their system.
The divx people are working on it. You can reference their forums posts
