With my mate that plays the Spanish game away for 3 weeks, I thought I'd
load up a new FM game to occupy my time while he's in Singapore. So I
thought why not try every league in every country that's available.

3 hours and 9 minutes later the game had initialised. Who to manage though?
I finally decided on QPR, as I had played them way back in the days of CM2.

After setting up all my training, sending out scouts etc. I was ready to get
on with it.

After about an hour I got a message from the Chairman.

Damn!! So I dutifully started looking for players around the £2 million
mark, the balance of the club, but way over the £300K transfer budget.
Imagine my surprise when I got a message from the Chairman about a player
I'd brought in for £26K.

So anyway, with the Chairman appeased I carried on with preseason, brought
in some more players, mostly on frees ;-)

Then after 5 hours of game play, and with only having moved forward 2 and a
half weeks. I decided it was a stupid game to try to play and deleted the
save :)

So you have been warned, *DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME*

For those interested my PC set up is:

AMD XP 2600+
1 Gb of 333Mhz RAM ( 2 x 512Mb strips )
Gigabyte GA-7VAXP-A motherboard ( dual BIOS chappy :) )
NEC DVD R/RW
120Gb Samsung HDD
200Gb Western Digital HDD
and I'd just done a clean install of XP Pro, so I can't even blame a bloated
OS :-s

So now I've started a new game, all South American leagues selected, and I'm
just starting out with Palmeiras ( I'll try not to ruin them Edu ;-) )

heh, my upper limit is 40 divisions, thats just about acceptable on my
machine, but a bit slow and memory hungry.

i usually settle around the 25-30 mark.

(got an amd64 3400 w/1gb ram)

i barely cross the 12 div mark, as I can't stand waiting for too long
processing ;-)

Normally around the 20 league mark for me. I wonder if your 64 bit
processor would be up to the full monty? ;-)

again...and Palmeiras
is in second div...lol, ok, more of a challenge then.

Ok, Edu, I`ve gotten rid of all the loaners at Palmeiras. I want to use
players I OWN, not somebody elses. Who do I buy in Cm4...in brazil...with
Palmeiras budget? Seems like I need a good cheap defender.
