Graphics problem

I am running XP pro on a amd1700+ machine. I have plenty of ram and an nvidia g-force card. I am having a problem when I wake my computer up the graphics are really slow and choppy until I reboot. No idea why..............I have updated all the drivers i can. Any help would be appreciated

Like me, some things just don't like being woken up.

Is your chipset VIA-based? The Via 4-in-1 drivers need to be active otherwise your AGP slot won't run at full speed. Could be that they don't restore properly after being woken, in which case there's probably not much you can do.

What are you waking the computer from? Standby, hibernate, or suspend-to-ram?
