My vote is a HIS X850XTpe (platinum edition) as the single best card. The X850xtpe's will pretty much win everything except in Doom 3.

In a few games and benchies, two GF6800U's paired in SLI can easily beat it out though.

Those are all PCI-e (for now anyway). Currently, for AGP, The X800XTpe is the king, edging out the GF6800 Ultra and plain X800XT. Throw in the GF6800GT and you round out the top AGP cards.

Agree with paul here, but remember that SLI is best if you're running stoopid high resolution on your games, and you need a stoopid fast cpu to take advantage of the benefits. If not, then I would say go for either the ATI x800xl or the x850xt (non platinum), and get the HIS model if you can afford it, or else either sapphire or built by ati. :smile:
