Secondary Sata Drive Not Recognised Tags: Configuration SATA Windows 7 Last response: July 4, 2010 2:06 PM in Windows 7 Share Kezza_PwNz July 4, 2010 12:57:51 PM Hey, I am having trouble with my windows 7 (64b prof) recognizing my 3.5" 500gb sata which i have plugged in. It is recognized by the windows 7 reformat cd, but no in windows, nor device manager. I am pretty computer literate, so please list anything which may be causing the problems... Note: When i plug an alternate sata drive it it is recognized immediately... oth have been formatted NTFS quick. The drive which isn't recognized, works and is recognized by windows when it is in an external case.
