I think it's a great deal too, especially considering how newegg has been gouging on most of the high end ATI cards. Why are they so generous on this one as they are among the first to have it in stock.

And in all fairness, your link was now $3 cheaper than mine was.

Maybe the availability of the chips is starting to smooth out or something. Pricing can be very weird. A year ago, the 9800 Pro dropped like $75 in price in a matter of a week, though ATi did announce major price drops a month before.
