NFS demo problem

I downloaded the demo for the new Need For Speed: Hot Persuit 2, got to the menu, past the loading screen to where it says press any key, I press a key then the computer freezes. Any idea's?

My system is as follows:
Asus P4t533-c, P4 2.8, 2GB PC1066 ram, ATI Radeon 9700 Pro, Audigy
