I have a converted cab that I am trying to figure out what it is, I have
spent some time looking on KLOV to see if I can spot it.
The closest thing I found is a Q-Bert. but there are a few of differances.
Qbert has painted sides mine has a woodgrain finish.
CP looks like the same but in the pic Qbert appears to have a rounder front
edge.
So the question is this, did Gottlieb make universal cabs??
Or did some Qberts come in woodgrain?
What other games had this style of cab?

the woodgrain could have been done by an individual. go back to klov &
look up "krull" or "mad planets". gottlieb made other vids like "new
york new york" but those type of cabs are different. fred

What about a Sega cabinet, like frogger? They came with woodgrain, the
profile is similar except Gottlieb is shorter. The coin door would be
different than Gottliebs too. Your best bet is to look at the CLOVE website
pictures.

I am 100% shure that this is a Gottlieb cab Has Gottlieb on the coin door
and had "all the pwr supply stuff" from a Gott. II did look at Krull and yes
it also looks like that one.
Funny what paint can cover up.
Still no woodgrain on anything there though.

look around the inside for numbers containing "103" or "105" in the
string.. post them here, and I can probably positivly identify it. They
usually stuc the tags in the form of white stickers to all the PCB's
too.

Thanks. I was thinking so, but I have never seen one that was not painted on
the sides.
And Yes it does "Look" to be factory.
Now.... Make it back into Q-Bert...... Maybe if I can find some parts.
