Lots of stuff coming out, cards are already $800, DX10 doesn't exist anymore, 512mb cards likely to be seen this weekend.

I just wanted to compliment you on your GREAT mixed metaphor!!

Also...yea...I'd just buy a new card...no use waiting <looks for storm clouds>. There's always something newer, faster, and cheaper three weeks after you buy one.

Current machines running F@H:
Athlons: [2000+][64 3500+][64 3000+][366][1.3x2][2500+]
Pentiums: [P4 1.4][X 3.0][P4 2.4x5]

It's not worth saying unless it takes a really long time to say!

Personally I think the 512MB card is kind of ridiculous. The only game that would really take advantage of this would be Doom 3. Basically I'm going to wait until the benchies come out to make a determination if in fact the 512MB makes a significant difference or not. I have a hunch that it probably will not.
