x800 and CPU usage

I have a ATI x800, P4 3.4, 2 GB Ram, Dual 2005FPW monitors. WHen I play Counter-Strike:Source, my CPU usage is around 50%. My video card settings are all on Maximum Quality, so Im having a hard time understanding why the CPU is being used so much.

In order to maintain high frame rates...Actually, is pretty good.
