After upgrading successfully to SP2, as you can read about that below,
Windows Messenger no longer logs in automatically at Windows startup. This
would appear to be caused by Windows Messenger starting before the wireless
internet connection starts. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

Now, for those who want to know the secret to upgrading successfully, I can
tell you what I did after failing to upgrade properly 3 times. First I got
the courage up to update the BIOS. Then I did a clean sweep with Norton
Utilities with no files excepted. I did a sweep with Lavasoft Ad-Aware SE
Personal, and got a couple of minor hits. Webroot SpySweeper found a few
nasty cookies. I then did the upgrade to SP2 and finally succedeed after
over 6 months!
