I'm not one for betas, I usually stick to the official releases only because I consistently get the best results with them.. but the new betas on Nvidia's beta page on Nzone are exceptional.

Most problems are fixed (yellow water in Aztec/CSS). Check release notes.

Easy profile creation for SLI profiles as well. This should shut up the some of the 'tards who dont know how to edit a XML file or are too lazy (or didnt want to use one of the apps that did it for you).
Or just wanted an excuse to rag on SLI like a noobcake.

To enable the profile creating feature, make sure you use Coolbits 2.0.

You get alot more options than the usual coolbits tweak you should know by heart in the registry by now.

Heres the SWAT 4 Demo profile I created in about 2 seconds.
<A HREF="http://home.mchsi.com/~mwkinney/SLI.JPG" target="_new">pwned!</A>

I'm on more than just THG now, but trying to keep my THG peeps updated on SLI developments.. dont want you guys in the "backwoods"!

Lil update- my performance has drastically improved with a single GT and SLI GTs.

<b>kinney seal of approval for mandatory upgrade for NV users</b>

The next official is going to be awesome, OGL 2.0 plus all the 71.84 improvements (only 71.90 is OGL2 right now) and hopefully a few more SLI fixes.
ATI can have their monthy releases when we get stuff like THIS.

I'm also going to give the-
<b>kinney seal of approval and recommendation of SLI to anyone with half a brain</b>
I think with the next official NV drivers most of the SLI issues will have been squashed out for the most part.

Otherwise all is quelled on the NV front...
Things are pretty exciting for NV lately, latest feature set.. SLI... shucks that ATI doesnt have anything hot going.
Well, they got lackluster OGL drivers, lackluster 64bit drivers, lackluster linux support and poor multimonitor support... and SM2 hardware with no option to run SLI...
But people still insist on ATI!!! WINNARZ!!!!!

Guide to creating SLI profiles through the new betas and explanations of the <b>TWO new SLI rendering modes</b>, autoselect (seems to work rather well) and AFR2.<P ID="edit"><FONT SIZE=-1><EM>Edited by game on 03/03/05 03:16 AM.</EM></FONT></P>

Another update, heres the newest nvapps with all the default profiles.. not that it matters now that we can create our own even easier than ever...

but at least you can see if Nvidia gave any particular fart in the wind to your favorite game, popular or obscure.

Update: now pulling 9051 in 3dmark05, tested this after someone in another forum noticed a boost... this is about a 500 point jump for me.

not bad at all for stock SLI GTs with no driver changes or tweaks made at all.

i think i could break 10k without even overclocking the GTs. Thats pretty damn impressive.

Overclocking, I dont even want to know what ppl are going to be pulling out of the Nvidia hardware.

I for one, dont care much about 3dmarking.. but its still a neat comparison.

I have a Serious test for you. Go buy Riddick and see what happens when you enable SLI in OGL 2.0++ mode. Sofar only a few sites have reviewed it, and non with SLI, and the performance hit is ENORMOUS.

Now on to the Fanboi stuff for some fun....

[pulls out iron poker]

ATI can have their monthy releases when we get stuff like THIS.
Still no fix for the banding issue in HL2 though. Guess they need another few months!

shucks that ATI doesnt have anything hot going.
Sure sure, nV releases bug fixes, and ATI releases unmatched superior products.

Well, they got lackluster OGL drivers,
OpenGL, who uses that anymore, the last game to come out in OpenGL was D3, and it seems nobody's finished it, not because it's hard but because they got so bored quickly. Now Mineweeper, that's one hell of a game!

lackluster 64bit drivers,
Except those 'lackluster drivers' still outperforms nVidia in in more modern games except that D3 game no one plays anymore;

<A HREF="http://www.computerbase.de/artikel/hardware/grafikkarten/2005/32_bit_64_bit_spieler/15/#abschnitt_half_life_2" target="_new">http://www.computerbase.de/artikel/hardware/grafikkarten/2005/32_bit_64_bit_spieler/15/#abschnitt_half_life_2</A>

also this one;

<A HREF="http://www.computerbase.de/artikel/hardware/grafikkarten/2005/32_bit_64_bit_spieler/13/#abschnitt_far_cry" target="_new">http://www.computerbase.de/artikel/hardware/grafikkarten/2005/32_bit_64_bit_spieler/13/#abschnitt_far_cry</A>

and this one, hey wait I thought you said nV was good at OGL, guess not here;

<A HREF="http://www.computerbase.de/artikel/hardware/grafikkarten/2005/32_bit_64_bit_spieler/17/#abschnitt_rtcw_enemy_territory" target="_new">http://www.computerbase.de/artikel/hardware/grafikkarten/2005/32_bit_64_bit_spieler/17/#abschnitt_rtcw_enemy_territory</A>

Guess nv needs to hope for 96 or 128bit or something else to help them. Maybe that's the problem, nVidia's focused so much on SLI they thought they need 65bit drivers because they need 64bit time two and so they floptmized for that? Silly goofs!

poor multimonitor support...
As does nVidia. Once you use UltraMon, you'll never use the bundled crap for multi-monitor ever again. :frown:

and SM2 hardware with no option to run SLI...
Well nVidia has no option to run SLI now either. Obviously nVidia marketing team was to sto0opid to know the difference and forgot to ask the engineers, or else they knew that naming it after Alienware's SFR or ATI's AFR would expose that they weren't using their own methods to accomplish this. Of course ATI and others always have the option to use ALX and AMR to does the same when they really need it in the future, all without the SLI tax.

And then there's also the crippling heat and noise issues associated with the loud nVidia solutions. Geez didn't they learn anything from the FX5800UltraLoud ?!?

Maybe if they weren't so busy creating profiles for every game, application and screensaver they needed to use, they could get around to it. Forget about SLI how do you make a SILent profile?

[end of fire stoking  ]

Hmmm..

Compare NV multimonitor support (actually works in games like MS FS unlike ATIs last I checked) to ATI.
The rest of the categories I cited are just true. ATI might get a leg up here or there, but historically and overall today.. they are subpar to NVs.
Not only that, you got j0r winnar .Net drivers.
Woot woot.. those things are horrid.
Yeah u can avoid it, but still.. they disgrace themselves like such they deserve a spanking.
NV drivers are still king.
However can you link me to the HL2 banding issue? I havent heard nor experienced that one.

Those sites you link too are almost always nobodies from some other continent.. pull me a OCP or AT link and someone might wake up and pay attention.

On Riddick.. what is that? I'm enjoying SWAT4 right now (and the AAA shooters as usual), but thanks for the suggestion. Maybe you should try Riddick in AFR2 or regular AFR/SFR.

I'm sure one of your favorite review sites found a way to make it perform badly, but in case you were too lazy to check it is profiled in the 71.84s. So I'm nearly positive its FUD from some bozo enthusiasts with half my experience as usual.

Your review showing this is outdated and from some site from Zimbabwe, Sudan, Germany or France requiring a translation into poor ass english. As well as using outdated drivers, I wouldnt doubt if they were hell bent on using SLI with games that werent supported in the drivers they used.

If there is a Riddick Demo I'd be <b>MORE</b> than happy to duplicate those results for ya APE!

Link me to that, and I'll punish ATI scores for you.
If I dont with the 71.84s I'll eat crow.

Someone doesnt like my ATI bashing? Thought you were a Matrox fanboy there?
BTW, I'm surprised you never bought a parhelia considering.
as you might remember i use a widescreen, and over at widescreengamingforums.com IIRC i saw someone who was dead set on his "surround view" 3 widescree LCD setup, he said he got it working decently in HL2.. but dont quote me.
I'd go ahead and get your surround view LCDs setup, and a parhelia and have some fun... then if the new ATI mobos with DX9onboard allow better surroundview with a ATI VPU you'll have something to move too..

thats just my thought on the matter from what you've said in the past. And you'll have a nice parhelia for a 2nd rig when you go to that setup. Certainly a admirable video card.

Oops I remember back in the day I was mobbed for saying that a GF2MX performed admirably (considering its price/release date/features).. i got called a noob and everything else in the book.
Better take that back, you are only L33T if you use a X850 or 6800 Ultra. [rollseyes]
I STILL say the GF2 gen was one of the longest lasting and my favorite generation of all.
I was able to run my GF2 GTS for a very long time, considering. Longer than my GF4 lasted (ya it met mr. 9700 Pro and kablamo all over).

I cant leave without some ATI bashing for good measure.
For ATI, back to catch up as usual. Shame the R300 ran out of steam.. looks like ATIs free ticket riding off of poor design choices by NV in the FX series is gone-dee.
Damn that felt good.

I'm not going to go round o round with you right now (nothing out of disrespect, just dont need another 50pager, and hey i got the decent "member" status so I'm set)
but I'll get to the root of about the only thing you said that meant anything  : Riddick. I actually was not aware.

Get me a Riddick demo and we'll see what happens.

One of us will have to take pics of ourselves wearing either a NV logo or ATI logo.. or something fun depending on the results.

......or just link me to a illegal bittorrent so i dont have to go buy a game just for a dare.... err i mean.... ya um.... nothing.....

You even thew in a little Doom3 zingers, as if that even gets me excited in the slightest.
Doom3: not a great game, but not the worst game of the year. Possibly the biggest letdown doh.
I still like it as its graphics are the l33t3st of all.
And will be purchasing the xpansion.. maybe.

Much more looking forward to Q4.
And Battlefield 2.
This SWAT 4 is becoming kinda cool as well, might have to pick this one up.. reminds me of CS.
BTW i dont remember if you answered me that time I asked, do you still hate CS, now that it is "CSS"?

I'd really like to add some of you who play the game regularly to my friends list (if its working yet). I'm not the uberest, but I'm not bad and its so much more fun playing with people you know.

Oh and another Q: I went back from firefox to IE6/google bar and was messing with google maps.. I mapped a route from my city to NYC and saw calgary.. how big of a city is that? population
theres not a whole lot of density of cities up in that part but looks like it is sizable (anything over 200,000 is livable by my standards)

No time to answer with humour and creativity, sleep need must me.

Just FYI I hate .net drivers, but supposedly they will be REQUIRED for LongHorn (maybe also for final version of 64bit too?) so nV will be getting them too. Just FYI. Personally I'd rather ATI work the bugs out now as an optional set than then when it's mandatory.

Anywhoo, off to bed.

(on .net, i was talking to brent from OCP a few weeks ago and he informed on that detail.. but honestly, i think NV could start later and still beat ATI at something like drivers  it might not be .Net at fault in ATIs case but their traditional programming prowess  )

i should add to this thread that those who remember that I said NV had a setting that enabled AFR mode in ALL games without the need for a profile...

these drivers allow you to change that to any of the 4 modes (auto select, afr, afr2, sfr).
i excellent results with autoselect. it appears to figure out without any kind of test, what kind of mode to use on any given game.

i tried removing my SWAT4 profile and it detected the proper mode (AFR or AFR2, i dont know which it was using, but I use AFR when i created my profile).

I'll be doing more tests to see what exactly AFR1 and 2 do differently performance wise.. but it depends on the individual game (AFR2 gives increased performance in certain cases.. i'd like to find more writings on WHAT cases).

in case you all dont know:

SFR is best used in any case where there are no slowdowns as you get to use the combined 256MB of ram X2 so you get a 512MB card essentially in the case of the current GF6s. This mode has the lowest latency and the best choice if it works right.

AFR works best in cases where the the minimum framerate will or can dip (a future, highly intensive game), but limits you to 256mb (in the current 6800 cards case), it introduces much more latency than SFR. Also, special advanced effects dont work well in this mode. such as blending from frame to frame that depends on the last image blending into the next. Good example of this is that new fangled NFS game.
Havent tested, but I'd guess that SFR would be best for that one.

In conclusion, neither mode is superior to the other in all respects, nor is there a clear cut preferred method.
From a gamers standpoint, if the game suits SFR that method is most desirable IMO. But clearly with the drawbacks that can occur using SFR doesnt allow it to work in all games (nor is it the fastest even when it does display without anomalies, compared to AFR).

The autoselect takes the guess work out of this as it seems to work well. I'm sure it uses SFR whenever applicable, as when it works it gives you a memory bonus and less latency penalty.

I know no one here has SLI, nor seems to care.. but boy do i have a blast playing.. i love it. I'd suggest dual 6600GTs or 6800GTs (or a single of each for now to start out with and add another later) to anyone adventurous at all.

The sheer thrill of playing HL2 at 1600x1200 with no AA/AF.. and not really being able to enable AA/AF.. then turning on SLI and running 4xAA/8xAF is pretty damn cool.
Like having a delorean and a fluxcapactitor.

I honestly would not steer this forum wrong, barring cost and other issues that might be important to you.. SLI is ready for prime time.
I'd get a SLI capable card if you are choosing between X800 or GF6.. even if you are a ATI devotee.. its that good.

<b>keep in mind that hardOCP said that the real world playability on SLI 6600GTs is better than a single 6800GT.</b>
I would highly suggest a budget conscious person get a 6600GT PCIE w/NF4 SLI and get a 2nd one later possibly when you feel you need more speed. I myself was going to to do this before I went 2x6800GT. Its the best bang/buck path.. and you dont HAVE to utilize your SLI if it ends up not being the most economical choice whenever you are ready to upgrade. But it will be there open for you to make that call.
its highly possible that dual 6800GTs or Ultras will be a better playable experience than a single NV50 as well.

Now DUAL NV50s..... *drool* thats what the [K] is going for.<P ID="edit"><FONT SIZE=-1><EM>Edited by game on 03/03/05 07:13 AM.</EM></FONT></P>

Hey NFSU2 was added, but not MOHPA. Have you tried the SplinterCell Chaos Theory demo? It's pretty amzing, but with enabling HDR by default, it brings my 6800U to it's knees. Glad to see that game listed as without SLI actually working well in that game, the PS3 effects like HDR are just too much for any current NV card to handle, even an OC'ed 6800U. I was trying to play 1024x768, with everthing in the advanced video options on/maxed, including AF (but not AA). It was playable because of the slow paced stealth style of play, but often framerates sit in the low 20's. Even with the A64 @ 2.2GHz, the 6800U running 435/1200 wasn't enough to keep it above 30fps at 1024x768 with all visuals cranked. Disabling HDR adds a bunch of performance, but it does actually looks very good in the game, so it would be nice to be able to use HDR. But I think it's going to take R520 or NV50's power to make HDR more realistic, especailly at the high resolutions you want to play at when buying $500 video cards.

Wow, I was excited to try these out, but the list of issues fixed is misniscule compared to the issues still to solve. HL2 water banding is gone, but lighting issues are present?

Oh well, i am going to bench a little on the 6693's and then switch to these betas to see what performance gain i can get.

yeah i can run HDR smooth in high resolutions. at least in farcry, havent tried splinter cell. i can play through farcry without slowdowns@1680x1050 and HDR enabled.
i take it splinter cell is kinda like swat so i'll give it a try.

to run hdr on a single card, dont expect the r520 unless you think they are geniuses at ATI. its 1st gen HDR support from them.
NV will be on their revision, its likely in PS3 features it will outperform R520. This of course, is just the odds anything could happen.

I prob wont upgrade until PS4/DX10. I prefer to upgrade with the major DX releases.

I will have to agree with Kinney on that one WTF are you talking about I have never seen the banding issue while playing HL2, in fact I have yet to have a issue with the game thus far other than the stupid and very frequent loads which actually angered me so, and I discontinued playing the game after the fan boat area. But either or if this banding issue occurs after that then hell I agree with you but thus far I have yet to see any issue.

Coming from a guy that has never owned a NVIDIA product that is quaint at best, the heat issues associated with the FX line are no more the 6xxx series runs considerably cooler upwards of 20 watts less than its predecessors. Otherwise the noise issues associated with NVIDIA’s reference coolers are moot as well, its for reference and any manufacture that uses it as a primary cooling solution should be shot, NVIDIA does it for the wow effect since in reality it does look somewhat cool *I use that term lightly*.

Without re-reading what you guys are arguing about, i had a couple things to add.

look at NV's release notes for these drivers, and "Chronicle of Riddick 6800GT/U with SLI enabled results in corruption or application crash" is one of the first ongoing issues mentioned.

The first one mentioned is "GF6 lighting issues with HL2", which I hope I don't see. There should be no issues with HL2 by this point, comeon driver team! get to work!!!

As far as water banding issues, they are listed as being fixed in this version. So 1) they admit they had the problem, and 2) almost every <A HREF="http://hardocp.com/article.html?art=NzA4LDU=" target="_new">review site</A> that check IQ would confirm they had the problem. I haven't played enough HL2 with my 6800U to see them myself yet, currently replaying farcry first. But anyway, they had the problem, yet it is listed as on of the few fixes with this beta.

<A HREF="http://www.firingsquad.com/hardware/chronicles_of_riddick_performance/" target="_new">Riddick</A> looks like a fun game. SLI causes crashes though even with the new beta, you have to use single gpu sli mode and they claim it will be fixed next release. No claims are made for HL2 lighting though. :frown:

<i>"If there’s one thing we can’t stress enough though is that all GeForce 6 users must go into the shader mode submenu (found after clicking on the video main menu) and specify 2.0 shaders. By default Chronicles of Riddick loads in 2.0++ shader mode for GeForce 6 cards. This setting enables soft shadows and can have a significant impact on your performance, as you’ll see later in this article. Soft shadows are nice, but they definitely aren’t worth the performance hit."</i>

It's a poorly built engine moot to discuss IMO,
It's not a moot issue, it's a huge performance hit and it's a game not a benchmark. I have yet to see any goood investigation of what IQ diffs OGL2.0++ offers over 2.0, just performance hits (even worse than HDR). Since I haven't seen an SLI used yet I'd like to see if it opens up the performance since this may be part of the very few applications to truely bring the modern VPUs to their knees, which would be interesting, and it'd be nice to see what influence SLI has on that when it works. I didn't know it crashed with SLI enabled. But look back at the post I put up about it being benched by FiringSquad and the one thing I was commenting on, can't wait to see SLI as this may become a new OGL stress test that truely crushes cards.

I will have to agree with Kinney on that one WTF are you talking about I have never seen the banding issue while playing HL2,
<A HREF="http://www.ixbt.com/video/itogi-video/bugs/hl2/hl2_050227_1_1_bug.jpg" target="_new">http://www.ixbt.com/video/itogi-video/bugs/hl2/hl2_050227_1_1_bug.jpg</A>
Pauldh however said it's in the release notes. I didn't see it with a brief look, but he probably looked at it with more detail. Maybe you just don't have good eyes. No wonder you defending the FX so vehemently.

Last I checked most developers still run OGL workstations
*cough* Look up the word 'sarcasm' dude. *cough*

While your defence of Kinney is admirable, remember the vein of the rest of the post, the only majorly serious part was the request for riddick tests cause I'm genuinely interested , the rest I don't give a flying FaQ about, cause I doubt kinney's even 100% serious, probably not even 50%.

Unknown site come on grape your better than that.
Unknown site? Ask Lars how unknown they are, and if you have issues with them you and kinney can NEVER bring up ATI's AF optimizations again as they are the ones who found them. Anywhoo I really don't care if you accept them or not, as you have nothing to counter the, and the spirit of the post remains the same. But I'm sure your passionate about something to do with it, 'why?', I don't know.

Coming from a guy that has never owned a NVIDIA product that is quaint at best,
Wow, do you just act ignorant to try and help kinney (for no reason since this is more of an act than reality for us at least); or is this really just you?
Like I said many times in Kinney's return thread as 'game', both of your assumptions are incorrect and based on not being involved in the forum. Although truely, you still came here from time to time, so it must be willful ignorance in your case cause kinney was banned, and has an excuse for not knowing that not only are nVidia products well recommend around here by me, but also I had aquired new nV gear (which is far from being the 'first' I've owned). One would think you would've understood that simply from the discussion of the recent XtremeG drivers etc. Here's a post with a nice screenie of my properties window to help edjumakate ya';

<A HREF="http://forumz.tomshardware.com/hardware/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&p=426995#426995" target="_new">http://forumz.tomshardware.com/hardware/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&p=426995#426995</A>

So seriously, either play along with the outrageousness of the thread with some humour and enjoy it; or else STFU, cause you don't know what the FaQ you're talking about as usual, and you're publishing falsehoods either willfully as a liar or through ignorance. I don't know if that's your usual Modus Operandi or not, but really I don't need a repeat of it either way! And it definitely doesn't make you look good either.

Well since the posts died from being fun jabs to too much seriousness, where I'm actually pi$$ed of at Xeon's BS trying to defend you (against obvious sarcasm! ), I'll address a few small points just for clarity.

Compare nV multi monitor support to real programs like UltraMon. Seriously if you sepnd $400+ on a card and at least as much on monitors, spend another $30-50 and get a real program. The only one who does multi-monitor well enough with the bundled drivers to not make it worthwhile is Matrox, and even then 3rd paty apps make even Matrox cards that much better still.

pull me a OCP or AT link and someone might wake up and pay attention.
Well why don't you refute it with an OCP or an A-nV-andTech link? Because you can't. How provincial to think only Americans know how to benchmark.

However can you link me to the HL2 banding issue? I havent heard nor experienced that one.
Damn man I thought you read OCP, I guess that you just read the off topic sections about she-males.

I assume this will be good enough;

<A HREF="http://www.hardocp.com/article.html?art=NzE2LDU=" target="_new">In addition, the nasty little water banding bug is still present with NVIDIA’s ForceWare 67.66 drivers in Half-Life 2. Other than that, we saw no differences in image quality.</A>

<A HREF="http://www.hardocp.com/image.html?image=MTEwNzc0MDMwOHZRcjBSSjBhUGhfNV83X2wuanBn" target="_new">The [H] screenie link I would've posted earlier in my reply to Xeon had it not been for their servers being down (obviously temporarily)</A>

NV drivers are still king.
Just to show that both have major issues look at Digit-Lifes Bug files, and their latest (ixbt) which still hasn't been translated yet;

<A HREF="http://" target="_new">http://</A>

<A HREF="http://www.ixbt.com/video/itogi-video/0205/itogi-video-gallery-bugs.html" target="_new">http://www.ixbt.com/video/itogi-video/0205/itogi-video-gallery-bugs.html</A>

Alot of ATI and nV issues there to me, anyone look clean? I just wonder if they have like a whole different website for XGI issues?

I'm sure one of your favorite review sites found a way to make it perform badly, but in case you were too lazy to check it is profiled in the 71.84s. So I'm nearly positive its FUD from some bozo enthusiasts with half my experience as usual.
Well that's pretty paranoid of you. I actually am very interested because there is not other GAME out there THAT stressful, period! Look at my comment at the end of this post;

<A HREF="http://forumz.tomshardware.com/hardware/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&p=430317#430317" target="_new">http://forumz.tomshardware.com/hardware/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&p=430317#430317</A>

I really do want to see if SLI helps and that was like I said the only serious part of my reply to you as I tried to make clear with all the [emotives]. I know you were being blustery so was I EXCEPT for that one request which I thought was made clear.

I don't think there is a demo. I don't know if anyone else knows. But I was relying on your wealth and your innate curiosity about SLI.

And I don't care about the date of the drivers, I just want to see if this game is really THAT stressful.

Link me to that, and I'll punish ATI scores for you.
If I dont with the 71.84s I'll eat crow.
Look at the review the GF6800Ultra ALREADY leads. This was a serious request (the only serious part), but obviously it's not within your power.

Someone doesnt like my ATI bashing?
Actually I did, and I thought it was going to be fun until Xeon decided to poke his nose in. Maybe I should've read this thread and posted from work to avoid his involvement, but it was a busy day.

Thought you were a Matrox fanboy there?
I am.

BTW, I'm surprised you never bought a parhelia considering.
But I'm not stupid, the Parhelia <b>still</b> costs more than a GF6800GT or X800XT, and other than surroundview is terrible in games. I love that feature, but I still prefer all the extras of the two true gaming giants. I don't let my love of them (Matrox) keep me from playing D3, seriously dude, c'mon! But like our Mobo discussion, seriously I just wish people would adopt their technology so we can ALL benefit.

One of us will have to take pics of ourselves wearing either a NV logo or ATI logo.. or something fun depending on the results.
You still don't get it do you? ATI/nV who gives a crap? Both are doing stupid stuff, both have about equal products. I didn't ask you to do it because I think nV will fail (they are the only one with the feature, and under normal OGL they win too), but because there were few people out there testing it. Relax it's for information sake, but forget about it, I'll just ask someone at B3D who would actual care to find out for the sake of it.

You even thew in a little Doom3 zingers, as if that even gets me excited in the slightest.
Try and re-read it and put it into context again. It was tongue in F'in Cheek! Ask people here, D3 great visually, but most of us have issues with it. Seems the most popular game is FartCry and HL2, but heck even HL2 I don't have time to finish.

BTW i dont remember if you answered me that time I asked, do you still hate CS, now that it is "CSS"?
I did answer, and the answer is NO TIME. I would love to play it. but I wanted to finish HL2 first, which is almost done, but still not. Once the spring hits likely more time.

I'd really like to add some of you who play the game regularly to my friends list (if its working yet). I'm not the uberest, but I'm not bad and its so much more fun playing with people you know.
Yeah that would be good, still it'll be a while for me. I still play UT2K4 for 15-30 mins at a time, but that's about it. Recently been playing 'fist full of boomstick' on Xbox for equally small segments.

Anywho as to you final question , Calgary is a 'town' of 1 million, and I mean that, it's got a population of like 890,000, yet it acts like a town of less than 20,000. Freakin' terrible for someone from Toronto who spent his 20s in Montreal. This city is F'in boring! If it weren't for skiing I woulnd't be here.

Anywhoo, I'm just gonna drop this thread, because I thought you were doing this for fun, but it seems obvious that was never the intention and I really have no time for that stuff.

Nah, no worries, not your fault.

I thought Kinney could do the outrageous, I could do the outrageous, and at least have fun with it. But obvious the Fanboi stuff wasn't for kicks, and I misinterpreted what was a post better simply ignored.

Anywhoo, funny, I thought Game said we could ask for SLI requests. Maybe he doesn't really have the cards afterall.

its not that they are american, its that i have trust in them to a degree.

In addition, the nasty little water banding bug is still present with NVIDIA’s ForceWare 67.66 drivers in Half-Life 2. Other than that, we saw no differences in image quality.
Right, but the 71.84s were what i was referring too.

Alot of ATI and nV issues there to me, anyone look clean?
no one is clean, but if a forced ranking took place.. i'm afraid one would have to crown nv.

ook at the review the GF6800Ultra ALREADY leads. This was a serious request (the only serious part), but obviously it's not within your power
Hopefully they'll release a demo (i was not able to find one). But i might pickup the game after reading some reviews if its worth it.
i dont really want to buy a game that i wont play.

the Parhelia still costs more than a GF6800GT or X800XT, and other than surroundview is terrible in games.
i wasnt aware. its still a cool novelty.

ATI/nV who gives a crap?
i do. ati is teh sworn enemay.
yet, you never caught me buying a FX either (besides the 5200s which i completely advocate, but more on that some other time)

It was tongue in F'in Cheek! Ask people here, D3 great visually, but most
i realized. i just wondered why u picked doom3 to be tongue in cheek about. i found it an odd choice.
i didnt know i was connected to that game somehow.

Last I read OGL2.0++, has a new instruction ordering scheme, kills the GPU's efficiency but that’s only speculation I have yet to look at the differences between them.

Pauldh however said it's in the release notes. I didn't see it with a brief look, but he probably looked at it with more detail. Maybe you just don't have good eyes. No wonder you defending the FX so vehemently.
It’s forbidden either or again WTF are you talking about defending the FX? I don’t see where you got that from.

Tough to catch sarcasm on a forum, but if thats the case sorry I jumped to conclusions.

Do you suffer from self dilutions, where the hell did I defend Kinney? The banding issue I have never seen the other aspects of his posts don’t interest me he’s high on himself and I wont go and plant my flag in his base so give it a rest man and get over yourself you [-peep-] does stink.

Christ now its a pissing match with you seriously grape get the hell over yourself, the website I have never seen nor do I care. With you it has to be some underlying secret love for NVIDIA when in reality its simply I don’t find the web site validate able or readable. You don’t like it deal with it throw some more low blows comments maybe how I want to suck Kinney’s dick your good at snide comments like that.

Wow, do you just act ignorant to try and help kinney (for no reason since this is more of an act than reality for us at least); or is this really just you?
Like I said many times in Kinney's return thread as 'game', both of your assumptions are incorrect and based on not being involved in the forum. Although truely, you still came here from time to time, so it must be willful ignorance in your case cause kinney was banned, and has an excuse for not knowing that not only are nVidia products well recommend around here by me, but also I had aquired new nV gear (which is far from being the 'first' I've owned). One would think you would've understood that simply from the discussion of the recent XtremeG drivers etc. Here's a post with a nice screenie of my properties window to help edjumakate ya';
= I like to hear myself talk, seriously man get back to reality. As well if you own NVIDIA based products that’s fine and dandy I was unaware. But you have one thing correct with all your queer ranting I don’t give a flying apes ass what you do, and yes that was meant to be taken as rude go off and assume some more you obviously know me better than I know myself.

You have some serious physcological disorder man you should really see a doctor about your self centralization and self infatuation. As well you meat bag where was I stating anything other than my opinion perhaps you’re the one that needs to be educated since you have problems understanding clearly printed English. As well looking good on a forum wow does that mean I get to circle jerk with you guys when they start humping your leg from your masterful posts?

Seriously I don’t know what the hell you are thinking but leave me out of your stupid ness, as well I don’t want to have anything to do with your circle jerk forum it happens to be I enjoy GPU technologies.

It's really big, guys! Seriously! An impressive and formidable member. Do not presume to underestimate my cock's girth or mass, as it is quite the huge specimen.

To conclude, my cock is large.
