Getting full screen TV view from laptop HDMI output

Hello,
The playback to my HDTV from my laptop, vis HDMI, is not full screen - how can I change this to ply the full size on the TV?

You have to configure the display options in control panel.
Also make sure that TV is in proper mode viz, PAL or NTSC.
