Gainwards brings forth another Water Beast!

Damn those boys have mad skillz.

2 x GF6800U-512mb with water cooling, now that would put smiles on faces while depleting wallets.

Damn you scottchen reply before I can fix the title spelling mistake!

Yeah Gainward is just great with this stuff, they are the stock tweakers out there. HIS is close but seriously there is no one in the ATI partner group like these guys.

Gigabyte an Sapphire did some stock water cooling colutions, but they always look like they are strapping a sea monkey aquarium to the cards!

This card will be nice and I'm also interested in seeing if they up the memory on them. I doubt it somewhat only because they say that the speeds are not faster (when they mention NV48). And likely the first batch 512mb of 1.6, maybe some future card will get a memory upgrade and get some additional name.

Either way I'd like to see a good indepth review of those cards.

Oh my god.... Will this ever end? I think I should rob a bank or something. I cannot afford to buy a new card for $1000 every three months.... Crazy $hit... Nice link...

Yeah, and $1000 is far below what this dual card water beast will run.

Wow, I have to admit, if money was no object, that setup looks delicious. Better than an Omaha Steaks catalog. (well, almost)

LOL!

Well what else were you gonna spend it on?

And just think if this doesn't stamp 1337 on your forehead, nothing will!

Wouldn't it be sad though, the NV50/R520 come out like in a few days/weeks and they blow these away, seriouslly what the heck would Gainward do? $2000US / $2500CDN, nah, thanks I'll wait for the GF7777/X969 in 2-3 months and buy an Xbox and a few games for while I wait.

But hey, if you've got money and little idea of where to spend it, why not? Seriously this is perfect for the creators of of blockbuster games not the players.

I think it makes sense to increase mem frequency over core freq on the 6800ultra cards since increasing the ram frequency gives significantly more performance than gpu increase.

Some benchmarks posted by the InQ;

Looks like a winner if you're willing to drop the coin (which I still have reservations about).

I have to say just the looks are sweet too, but then again I do love the way Gainward does things.

I also like that ATI version you posted a while back too, and am curious about how well it works on something that seems somewhat limited like the X800XL.
