Not bad, and good tech demo, but nothing too strssful looking still. No multi-character interactions. I still suspect that good framerates are held back by current cards.

what language is this guy speaking in because its not english, its sum really fuucked up accent, it sounds like hes mumbling. just like this ekbfwkbkw ewfnelwnlewcnlewcn lefjnlemplwemf.

That one character and his shadow sure look good. WOuld have been nice to see it on the big sceen they had.

RX8, yes it is english, just need to turn up the volume.

And the good news is that 6600GT and higher will be handle the engine quite well This is a good news for me at least!

Where have you heard the 6600GT will handle it well?

Kinda like an FX5200 handles farcry?

In the segment from Gamespot he mentions the GF6600 class of card will more than handle it. (which doesn't preclude the R9800 and X700, it's just using nV's reference level DX9 and above card [so no FX59xx mention :evil:

]).

I suspect that it'll be quite playable on truely anything equal to and above the R9700PRO, but don't expect any sweet features on anything below the R520 or SLI'ed 2xGF6800GTs, since even the demo they had with the limited no multi-characters, chugged quite noticeably at times, and that's probably on a GF6800U or SLI rig, so I wouldn't be surprised if when you turn things up, it's gonna kill all but the best out there, just like D3 did this generation!

Thx for the clarification. I was hoping my 6800U would handle it ok, so a 6600GT sounded weak to do a good job.

Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't those the very same videos we saw last year? At least, to me they seemed to. I saw the first and last demoes, they looked just like last year's examples...

The first one is the same, although this time WITH SM3.0 features, very little SM3.0 in the original GDC demo.

I didn't see the other three last year though.

Ya um ya they are the same videos from last year and the year before. I see no visual difference whatsoever. Oh well it's the Unreal engine won't work right for 18 months after release anyways.

I still felt last year's example was similar to this and was looking very advanced in lighting like here. Oh well, it's ok, I'll see more videos of actual taped gameplay later on, no need to check poor quality camera filmed videos of it yet.
