OK. I finally got my SLI up and going using 2 6800GT winfast cards with my Asus SLI deluxe motherboard. I updated bios and Ndivia drivers so I know I am up-to-date.
When I try to run HalfLife2 or Quake3 (probably other games as well) I get 2 to 3 green lines accross my screen. What the hell is that? How can I get rid of these green lines?

HW Specs
Asus A8N-SLI DX
AMD-64 FX-53
1 Gig DR400(Dual)
Asus Star Ice (CPU Cooler)
OCZ PowerStream 520PSU
2 Nvidia 6800GT SLI

have you turned the selector card between the slots around? (the one that says "asus patent pending" on it)

that's a seriously high drain system there, is the PSU v2.0 compliant? (it's 520W but that doesn't mean those puppies won't push the sh*t out of it)

Do you have the "show load blancing" enabled under the driver properties in windows? (right click desktop, properties , settings, advanced, then SLI setup) If the box is checked it WILL show you the balancing of the 2 gpu's so you can see what card is rendering what part of the screen. If you do not like the green lines, simply uncheck that box, problem should be solved. Let me know if that did the trick :)

Oh WOW! THat*MUST* be it. and YES it is turned on. When I play the game, there is a side green bar that goes up and down dynamically. It did not really look like a bug. Now everything starts to make sense! :D

Ok. OK. I get the point! I just wanted to let you know, everything is fine playing doom3 and halflife2 in SLI mode. Just one thing, doom3 is sluggesh if I push the resolution too high in Ultra mode. I find I need to go back to 768 to 1,024. :< I guess it is time to overclock these suckers and push the limits.:)
