Laptop not booting?

Hey guys/girls,

So today while I was cleaning my laptop, I removed the RAM cover to clean it. Unknowingly, I removed the 1 ram stick while the battery of the laptop was still on and and I instantly removed the battery and re put the battery on. But now it's not booting up. The power light is on. The HDD light goes on for a sec and then keeps off. I also tried to put a DDR2 1gb ram stick in the laptop(uses DDR3 slot) but knowing it wouldn't fit, I didn't put it.

The laptop is a samsing np-rv510

Any help please? Did I deprogrammed the BIOS or something?

Any input is highly appreciated

I've never removed the battery on a laptop when removing RAM, maybe I've been lucky. Sill yquestion but did you put the RAM back in? Your ram might have screwed up the RAM when you cleaned it.
