What is it with the heavymetal rap wierd combo singing groups these days. Starting with Kid Rock and now Limp Bizkit and Linkin park.
OK Bawitdaba was cool (esp. with homer simpson singin along ...lol!). Don't like american badass too much. Sometimes limp bizkit sounds ok. linkin park as well.
But where did it all suddenly come from?

After all, what's the point of being an original and meaningful musician these days when you can just sell out and make a bloody fortune? Music is all about the fame and fortune, isn't it?

It's what happens when white guys not named Slim try to rap.
What I think is entirely strange, is that we now live in a world where the top rap man is white, and the top golfer is black. Where did that come from?

I like country music
I love country girls
I like willy nelson
and don't forget about merle
There's just one thing that i hate
cause it's a bunch of crap
I, ohhh I hate rap
Well, not all rap is bad, I won't not like music just because it fits into a certain catagory, but i have a very hard time appreciating a form of music, that for the most part, promotes voilence, murder, rape and drugs.

for all that crap that is being peddled nowadays you can thank mtv. god some of that sh#$ just plain sucks. kid rock has no talent as a musician. limp bizkit 15 mins of fame is just about up. everytime i even think about mtv it makes me want to vomit. thanks to mtv we get to hear about every brittney spears, backstreet boys, and limp bizkit knockoffs out there. and i don't even care for any of them. speaking of which i think i start a post on mtv.
"Music is all about the fame and fortune, isn't it?"
In my opinion: Yes.
If you want to be a pop star all you have to do is look good, dance decently, sing on pitch, and go have a relationship with some other celebrity. Other than that, all the music is handed to you and after you sing it, it is "produced" ten times over to sound good.
If you want to be a band pop/rock star (blink 182 type stuff), all you need is a 150 dollar electric guitar, and at least $2000 in other equipment (amp, pedals, effects...). Then you can go learn 3 power chords and have a hit song.
Same goes for punk, except you need to be able to make nasty sounds with your voice and choose weirder sets of power chords.
If you want kid rock type stuff, take the first three chords you know, sing with random notes and you're there.
If you want to rap, ask lil bow wow.
Other than that, the best music is probably playing in your local coffee shop and not on the radio.
Does it work?
Yes!
Ok, How well does it work?
Uhh...
Again I find no one mentioning classical music or if that's not your taste, then something like dream dance collection music, trance and above. So many people are close minded, it is sad really. Locked up in your own basement? Eheh
I listen to classical music on occasion. More often though I'm meditating to various new-agey fluff-bunny music. Heh heh. However, more often than either I've just got the radio in my car on and am listening to various rock, depending on my mood.
I never listen to country though. It makes me nautious. (Litterally. There's just something about it that makes me physically sick.)
