I agree. The backdoor is a snap (small bubble needed),
a G07 easy to come by and if the boards are bad they
do shop-up on ebay.

sometimes the time to take apart the parts, find a box and packing, and
shippigng it isnt in the sellers best interest.
its easier to sell it as a whole, have someone pick it up and its done.
time sometimes is more important than money. it works that way 4 me
too.
now of course if it was a large dollar difference ($500 or more) then
sure, take the time to part it out. etc
