This programme cannot display the webpage

Hello, my brothers been using my notebook for general browsing & yesterday he had the full screen 'this program cannot display the webpage' & were unable to get rid of it. i have read the comments below, however i havent got an admin profile on the netbook & im not sure what safe mode is or how to use it! if i turn off the netbook & reboot it as soon as i log into my profile the screen instantly appearsso cant even create a new profile quickly. does anyone have any suggestions that may help me? thanks

Sounds like you are going to have to activate the built in restore, but you will lose EVERYTHING....
