my computer is making a siren like sound whenever I turn on my computer.
After leaving my computer sit for an extended period of time the computer
boots up and shows it is having a "serious" computer error. By the time I see
this my computer monitor shuts off and the computer (not the speakers) starts
to make a siren sound which also shuts down the computer. Is this a virus or
a XP problem? If it is a virus and you know which one where can I go to get
the cure for the virus. I have the updated version of windows XP (the SP2).
Please help! I can't use my computer for anything

From your description, this problem is neither virus- or WinXP-related.
You have a hardware failure. Contact a local computer repair shop or
the computer's manufacturer, if it's still under warranty.
