Oh man sometimes my company amazes me.

Far Cry, for what is likely a limited time, for 10 freakin' legal dollars CANADIAN at Staples/Bureau en Gros.

Definitely worth every penny.

Another superb offer is Doom III bundle pack including Expansion, all for the measily sum of 49.99$. Huge deal there, since D3 costs that much alone!

Oh btw if it weren't for the cashiers' closing their cash registers, I would've been one of the first in the country to buy the D3 expansion.

That was until next day when they pulled it out back into the lockup with a big message saying IMPORTANT DO NOT RELEASE UNTIL APRIL 4TH!
Gah! We actually released before time when we shouldn't have. And if I HAD bought it, they'd have been fined. Oh well, it's ok.

But I'll tell ya, when I was walkin' around ready to exit the store, I spot the damn expansion box near the original on a shelf, and freak out like hell. "WHAT THE HELL! HOW THE HECK DID THEY RELEASE IT NOW?!". Wasn't helping that IGN and other review sites had not released any reviews yet, and no store yet even sells it, AFAIK!

Man, I don't know how crytek does it.

They've had it for $25 at Walmart here forever. Such a great title, there's no excuse for anyone not to buy it.

I bought the D3 expansion last night (March 31) at the local Future Shop!!!!

Gonna go check FS tonight the guys at mine ain't that bright, so who knows. Personally I feel so burnt by the fist game's disappointment that I'll wait for it to be reviewed disected and criticized. Heck I have such limited time right now anyways, I still need to worry about finishing games more than getting another expansion pack.

I might pick up FartCry, just to have it for multiplayer so maybe you me and Cleeve can bust out a game sometime with our new rigs :cool: .

WOW! I've long suspected it will happen. Who knew it would be April 1, 2005 when the big news broke into mainstream. That's why I am converting my dollars into aging processors and AGP cards. Forget Gold, someday all trade will be in Antique CPU's. I'll be in great shape when 8086's become the new silver dollar, while you guys start gold digging in the landfills devastated you threw out your old boxes. :eek:

The funniest part, it's not an April Fool's joke, just the actual ranting/ravingss of a former prime minister.

IT does make you think (about the devaluing of foreign workers), but his remedies are laughable. What do you think Bush replaced less than a year after the election, maybe some Demos agree with that, and sure based on the comments of a foreign FORMER leader no less. :lol:

Never Broke. All I've been doing is waiting for parts.

The very last hiccups I've had are X800PASSIVE or HISX800XL? (for different reasons), and the bad new that the memory that <A HREF="http://www.corsairmicro.com/corsair/products/specs/cmx512-3200c2pro.pdf" target="_new">I CAN GET</A> my hands on, doesn't run at CL2 in AMD boards, and <A HREF="http://www.corsairmicro.com/corsair/products/specs/cmx512-3200llpro.pdf" target="_new">the stuff that does</A> costs as much as the X800PASSIVE (actually $10 more), and for that I want the XPERT stuff so I can taunt Eden. But we're close.
I have about $1200-1500 inviolate for this build (canabalize other parts too) just sitting there, but no point in rushing in when I'm not really playing too much right now.

Just a question of not buying another single channel KT400 mistake again not that it was a bad board, I just missed the Dual Channel option by a month or so.

After (finally) finishing the game (yeah yeah, about 7 months later!), I concluded people's opinions suck. :tongue:

No seriously, the game kicked ass. I loved the last parts, Hell is amazingly well done (still can't believe little was talked about it, all you hear is bit*hing about the redundant halls of the bases!), the two big bosses at the end are very well done and overall I felt like I was up for an expansion damn soon.
And yes I was still freaking out at the end.

Looks pretty promising so far. They redid the floating skulls, as well as there is a new breed of IMP, which hurl blue fireballs. The gravity gun is OK, but has a limited ability to hold an item. Not as good as the grav gun in HL2 :smile: . Nopt sure how many levels there are yet, made it past the first boss last night. The new relic is pretty neat. After beating the first boss, you gain the first power which is to slow the world around you. It uses human souls as the power for it.

Actually I often do those "to Canadians" announcements when some out of the world pricing appears. Did that for D3 when it first came out. Price was so below US pricing, I became annoying with my gloating about it. :tongue:
