TECH:CPS-2 white screen? Like the blue screen but white?

Hi, I've been stumped by a CPS-2 (X-Men vs. Street Fighter) B board
problem that I've never seen before. Starting from the beginning of the
problem:
The board was just running on Demo, then suddenly the picture/sound
froze up. First I clicked the TEST to see if it really was locked-up
which nothing happened. So I reconnected it to the 'A' board again,
turned on power but now it's just a white screen. Tried another 'A'
board with the B board, but still the same white screen and nothing
else. Almost like the dead battery blue screen problem, expect the
screen is white.

Has anyone seen this before with the CPS-2 boards?
